Delton grew up watching his mom hold things together on her own. His dad struggled with addiction and wasn't always in the picture. From a young age, he was out in the neighbourhood hosting garage sales, doing odd jobs, anything to learn what it felt like to make money. But by high school, the wrong crowd started pulling harder than the right direction. Partying, weed, and no real vision for the future had become the norm.

At 18, everything changed.

Delton got introduced to the direct sales industry and for the first time, he was surrounded by people who were building something. Successful men and women who took him under their wing and showed him a different way. Within the first year he was developing himself, and starting to understand what he was actually capable of.

Since then, Delton has spent the last decade + developing himself into the leader, businessman and entrepreneur he is today. Today, Delton & Yerie have grown their direct sales business to over 100 distributors.

Yerie's path looked very different, but the drive was always the same.

She grew up as a competitive figure skater with her sights set on the Olympics — a pursuit that demanded discipline, sacrifice, and an unwavering belief in what's possible. When her competitive journey evolved, she channelled that same dedication into athletic therapy, building a professional path centred around helping others perform at their best.

When Yerie was introduced to the direct sales industry and witnessed what it had done in people's lives, something clicked. She recognized a vehicle that could extend her reach far beyond the athletic world, a way to help people not just reach their physical potential, but build the life they had always envisioned for themselves. Her goal had never changed. The platform had.

She also saw clearly the life she and Delton wanted to build together - a family, a home, a real presence for their children as their family grew. A career in athletics would have meant constant travel and time away from the people that matter most. Choosing entrepreneurship wasn't giving something up. It was choosing something greater.

Yerie decided to step fully into building alongside Delton. Today, she balances a full-time role at the University while growing their shared businesses bringing the same precision, work ethic, and heart she developed as an elite athlete to everything she does.

Together, they have helped dozens of people create meaningful secondary incomes outside of their careers, supported people in paying off debt, and walked alongside individuals through genuine personal and professional transformation. Delton also founded Grand River Payments, expanding their reach into the financial services space.

But the businesses, the milestones, and the results are not the point.

The point is that both Delton and Yerie had people show up for them - mentors, coaches, and leaders who believed in them before they fully believed in themselves. That investment changed the trajectory of their lives. Paying that forward, one person at a time, is what Clarke-Brighton is built on.
